The industry's leading fat-tire bike is back for 2003. The Mastiff is introduced with a new rear fender on curved struts and a freshly styled two-piece fuel tank. Fatter than ever with a wider 240-rear tire, an all-new beefy 120" X 21" tire up front and larger diameter 1-1/2" frame tubing. All of these changes produce an integrated Super-Fat motorcycle design that totally re-invents the Mastiff. We improved the ride with a more active suspension and equipped this year's Mastiff with a smooth-running Baker 6-speed-standard! We also pumped the styling with a side-mounted tag bracket, contoured lower fork legs, new contoured dash and RC Component wheels with Metzeler tires.All 2003 Big Dog models have a new-generation electrical system and trick new LED turn signals and brake lights. Most electronics are made in-house and include an electronic controller with lots of plug-in options to adjust settings.
